Through our Division of Radiation Oncology, pediatric patients receive care from many of the world’s most experienced pediatric cancer doctors
and subspecialists. Our radiation oncologists have completed special training in pediatric oncology and radiation oncology and are entirely focused
on delivering radiotherapy to young children and adolescents. Our care team works closely with pediatric oncologists and pathologists, as well as
pediatric neuro-oncologists, surgeons, and neuro-surgeons to develop the most effective treatment plan for pediatric patients. .
Our team of pediatric radiation oncologists and physicists are also actively involved in all pediatric oncology protocols that include radiotherapy, and are currently investigating the late effects of radiotherapy on the vascular system in children.

Surgery often plays a critical role in overall cancer treatment. Our pediatric surgical oncology team consists of experts with extensive experience in
various types of cancers, including neuroblastoma, brain and bone tumors, as well as other rare and hard-to-treat cancers.
Because of the number of cases we see, our pediatric surgeons have a true appreciation of the issues that may be encountered. They are able to bring
perspective and expertise that can ultimately improve outcomes for our patients. Having this level of access to surgical oncology specialists allows***
to provide the best possible care for our patients. The partnership between our pediatric oncologists and surgeons in every specialty enables us to
quickly assess our patient’s needs and develop a cohesive, integrated and thoughtful approach to his or her care.
