The section 3 division regulates the city’’s
federal requirements related to the section
3 hud act of 1968, as amended. The act
intends tooster local and neighborhood
economic development and increase
individual self-sufficiency. The section 3
division certifies businesses and individuals
as section 3 business enterprises or section
3 workers. This division works closely with
the city’’s contract compliance division,office of community development and
potential section 3 residents/contractors.
